For the 44th ACOI National Congress Medtronic needed to be present with a representative space, consistent with its positioning as a leader in the medical device sector. Effetre, already a partner of Medtronic at previous events, handled the congress stand design and build.
- Open structure on multiple sides, with wooden slat columns as distinctive architectural elements
- Perimeter LED lighting at floor level to define the space and reinforce Medtronic's visual identity
- Branded totems and panels with institutional graphics and product communication
- Interactive station for the Hugo 360 VR experience
- Lounge and conversation areas to encourage dialogue with professionals
- Branded reception desk as a welcoming point and first point of contact
The result is an authoritative and welcoming congress space, capable of supporting both institutional communication and direct engagement with surgeons and specialists.
Congress stand design at ACOI Palermo for Medtronic
The 44th ACOI National Congress is the annual reference point for Italian hospital surgery: four days of scientific exchange, over 1,600 participants, 45 sessions and 64 partners. A highly specialised context, in which every company present speaks directly to surgeons, specialists and decision makers in the healthcare sector.
For Medtronic — one of the world's leading medical device manufacturers — being present in an authoritative and recognisable way is not an option: it is part of the relationship strategy with the scientific community.
Effetre, already a partner of Medtronic at previous congress events, designed and built the stand for the Palermo edition of the congress.
The project worked on two parallel levels: on one side institutional communication, entrusted to branded totems, panels and product graphics consistent with Medtronic's visual identity; on the other, direct experience, with a dedicated Hugo 360 virtual reality station and lounge areas designed to foster qualified conversations with the professionals present.
The wooden slat columns and perimeter LED lighting at floor level defined the space in a clear and recognisable way, distinguishing the Medtronic stand within the congress setting without resorting to enclosures or barriers.
A presence designed to communicate expertise, open conversations and consolidate relationships with the Italian surgical community.
