A Turnkey Project for Mitutoyo Italiana: Showroom, Training Area, and Offices

Effetre managed the entire project with a turnkey approach, starting from the raw building structure and delivering the fully completed exhibition space, ready for opening.

The client, a Japanese multinational and global leader in precision measuring instruments, envisioned a linear, bright space with an industrial style for its Italian showroom — one that would highlight the original architectural elements of the building, such as the exposed flooring and ceiling, while subtly incorporating touches of Eastern aesthetics as a tribute to the company’s heritage.

The project also required the functional integration of:

• a training area dedicated to machinery use instruction;
• a private office reserved for Mitutoyo staff.

Effetre oversaw every phase of the work, including:

1. Custom space planning, tailored to the client’s specific requirements.
2. Material selection suitable for exhibition use and aligned with the brand’s visual identity.
3. Construction of plasterboard partition walls, complete with doors.
4. Installation of internal glass walls with glass doors, allowing for light and transparent division of spaces.
5. Wall painting and finishing.
6. Clear resin flooring, designed to preserve and enhance the original floor.
7. Complete electrical system and installation of lighting fixtures.
8. In-house engineering and production of slatted wall panels with wood finish, along with coordinated custom furnishings: display counters, desks, storage units, and other functional, bespoke solutions.
